As you will all be aware changes in early years education
are happening fast and furiously, however although we are aware of the
recommendations for pre-school children, we also feel that we have been well in
advance of the national guidelines since our opening. You the parents have told
us quite clearly that you feel we are offering what you would all like for your
children as a base-line for their education. We have an annual inspection by the County Inspection team,
this is quite rigorous, covering many issues. We have had excellent comments on
our past inspections. We had a glowing Ofsted Report in February 1999 which
quotes that, ’Teaching is outstanding’. No action plan was suggested, and
this is something that happens in only a very few settings ! All in all we are very proud, confident and excited about what we have to offer your child.
