Our on-going investment at The Rosebank Centre provides us
with an excellent range of equipment and facilities to cater for a wide range of
skills and challenges. Two rooms are equipped with specialised equipment for Art
& Craft and Imaginative play. The ‘Quiet Room’ is a place to read, listen to stories,
look at books or play quietly, and to have an individual music lesson. The ‘Activity Room’ provides many table-top activities and houses a computer suite with a range of appropriate and stimulating software to introduce children to the fact that computers can be fun and educational. The ‘Studio’, with its hardwood floor, provides a
flexible space for dance, music & movement and gymnastics. We have excellent
equipment tailor made for small hands, and all children take part in the
pre-school gymnastics schemes. The ‘Garden Room’ is part of our new purpose built
extension and provides a larger and more challenging environment for our
children. The room has facilities for a complete range of activities and
includes creative, musical, physical and computer equipment. The large safe gardens provide the centre with a superb games, creative play, nature study and fun-days area. The children derive much benefit from observing nature, pond-life, gardening and the weather.
We have always been in advance with our thoughts on pre- school provision and our standing in the community reflects this, however, we do not believe in ‘standing still’ and at all times the Rosebank team are reviewing, reflecting and improving our methods.
