Parental involvement begins right from the very first meeting, and is very much viewed as a two-way process with information being shared between home and Rosebank.

Parents are invited to a ‘Welcome’ evening before their child starts, and any concerns can be aired, and reassurances given.

On commencement, parents are given a ‘shared’ form to fill in about what their child likes to do at home, and we also request a family photograph, which is put into your child’s portfolio along with developmental records.

We feel that it is by parents sharing their children’s lives with us that we can work towards the same goal, and a better understanding is achieved. Problems are noted at an early stage, and progress is enhanced.

We talk to our ‘parents ‘ a great deal, and feel that this is the most important point of contact.

Our afternoon Music & Movement session for 2yr olds and parents is called ‘Big Toes Little Toes’.

Parents come into Rosebank to share a skill, watch us in action, and help at fairs, and on trips.

We provide a termly Newsletter, and write daily curriculum details up in the entrance. A notice-board displays other information, we do our best to make you welcome, and to keep you well informed, and from experience we believe that our success is based on our ‘shared parenting’.

When your child leaves Rosebank we ask you to fill in a Questionnaire to help us to improve and review our services

We also have a new Discussion Group Web for parents.
