Early Years Education Grant are be available to both 3 and 4 year olds in Warrington. This addition allows all children to receive grants towards their sessions at Rosebank for the Autumn 2000 term. The Nursery Grant is available from Local Education
Authorities who make direct contributions to providers in order to fund the
education of all 3 and 4 year olds as part of their Early Years Development
Plans. This involves the LEAs making arrangements with both private,
voluntary and maintained sectors for the education of 3 and 4 year olds. The scheme allows us to increase our quality and quantity of teaching to an even higher level by providing the funding for parents to increase their childs session by an extra 2 to 3 sessions at no additional cost. The grant may be used towards morning sessions and full days for any of the three terms after your childs 4thth birthday. The Rosebank Centre has invested in additional premises, facilities and staffing to ensure that Rosebank children have the very best start possible. Although schools within Warrington have recently relaxed their age of entry to accept children before the age of compulsory education at 5, some Rosebank parents whose children are just reaching 4 years, have decided to leave their children at Rosebank until the January term when they can start primary school. Parents may choose to defer entry, and the school is obliged to reserve a place for them. |
